It is a process of giving license to make a son to be mature enough to visit schools in ancient times, in which the schools used to be run by Gurus(illuminated beings), they used to mainly reside in Banaras. A child of 7 years used to be encouraged by this process to get educated(not like nowadays), it was a transforming one. These days we run exams on how knowledge is in your mind, we don´t even see it whether it can be used or not. In ancient times, it was seen a person if he has changed to get certified.
